Job Seeker: Messages

Within Unify you and the employer can directly message each other. This guide walks you through the messaging process within Unify.

You can use Unify's messaging feature on the website or via the smartphone app. Below are instructions for the website and mobile.

Website

  1. If you have questions about a job interview, job offer or anything else, you can directly message the employer within the website. To message the employer, click on the “Message” tab on the far left side of the page. A new page will open called “Messages.” Here you can see any of the messages that you have received.
  2. To start a new message, click on “+ Compose” in the upper right. Under “Job Title” select the job that you want to send a message about. Only jobs that you have applied to will appear here.
  3. Enter the subject of your message and the message, upload any additional documents, and click “Send” to send the message to the employer.

Mobile

  1. If you have questions about a job interview, job offer or anything else, you can directly message the employer within the app. To message the employer, tap on the “Message” option on the bottom navigation bar. A new page will open called “Messages.” Here you can see all of the messages that you have.
  2. To start a new message, choose if you want to message an Employer or a Provider. Then tap on the green “+” in the lower right corner. Under “Job Title” select the job that you want to send a message about. Only jobs that you have applied to will appear here.
  3. Enter the subject of your message and the message, upload any additional documents, and tap “Send” to send the message to the employer.
